The Brief
One of the early suppliers of brunchtime madness on the Wilmington coast, Eternal Sunshine Cafe quickly garnered a cult following. Their unique takes on breakfast staples was a welcomed interruption to an otherwise bland breakfast scene. While there was a clear framework that was experienced by any local who dined in, the brand seemed a bit disjointed and incohesive.
The Approach
In an effort to bring some organization to an otherwise scattered brand, we honed the chaos and embraced the wild that was underneath this bird of a different feather.
This produced a verbal identity that owns its role as the outlier, waving the flag proudly.

Eternal Sunshine Café was born out of the desire to promote a mindset -- a mindset that could view and live in a world with an internal mentality basking in an eternal sunshine. Sunshine represents the joy and optimism awake in the world, and living in that joy is a choice. Having brunch with us is a gateway to tap into the joy that life offers up.

It’s always an eclectic gathering of shrubbery, wildlife, and conditions that unveil it’s beauty. We love and value the quirkiness of it all -- it both inspires and informs us. And it makes us smile.

When “sunshine” is in the name, there’s an innate hope that accompanies any single moment. And what can we do with hope but share.
